An executive with a large extended family wanted his balcony upgraded to provide a venue for frequent events for family and friends. The design program called for a flexible use space. Warm decking tones complement  inside flooring, mirrors cover bare walls and ambient lighting, creating a desirably intimate mood at dusk and at night.

An older professional couple with a large family needed a balcony with ample space for family gatherings throughout the year.

In Toronto, our Creative Director transformed this small balcony for a single female executive from a barren forgotten space, into a visually exciting place that extends the feeling of space inside and out.

Beautiful wood decking designed to meet building codes for safety. Over time the colour will lighten to a silver fox grey, or can be preserved with a Cutek chestnut colour protective stain.

Our Creative Director made this cramped balcony feel expansive by placing a large mirror on the far wall, by the teak dining table. The owners say it has transformed their sense of space beyond the glass, both outside and inside.
